About Us

Passion for Exploration, Education, and Conservation.

Sitnalta Dive Services is a freelance Dive Instructor that has been offering first-class Dive Training since 2013. As an active-duty veteran, we have had the opportunity to dive and teach around the world. Our experienced Dive Instructor Brian Slater is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and Technical Diver trained under the Global Underwater Explorers, which carries the most demanding and rigorous training standards. When you train with Brian, you are not just receiving basic Open Water instruction from a newly minted and "green" instructor.  You will have the benefit of training with someone who is focused on the safety and skills necessary for you to truly enjoy the underwater world.  If you are looking for cheap and fast, there are plenty of businesses to help you. We are not that.  If you are looking for quality... If you are looking for safety for you and your family... If you are looking to build a foundation that can take your diving anywhere in the world, then you've come to the right place.

We offer courses for the untrained new diver and the seasoned or experienced diver. We offer PADI Open Water and Advanced Open Water courses as well as specialty training including Dry Suit Diver, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox Diving, Underwater Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Night Diver. Additionally, we can take your diving to the next level as a Rescue Diver and if you are looking to build a career in diving, ask us about becoming a professional Dive Master.

We lead dive training and dive tours throughout Inland Northwest, as far north as Sullivan Lake and as far south as Pullman, WA, east into Lake Pend O'Reille and CDA, and out west to the Puget Sound and Pacific Ocean. Open Water classroom or academic sessions are conducted online through PADI's e-Learning Platform with pool training in private pools. Open Water training is conducted in the inland lakes of the Inland Northwest, with potential add-on ocean training in the Seattle area.

Divers have the opportunity to train in demanding conditions that prepares them for diving anywhere in the world. If you learn to dive in the tropics, then you are likely unprepared for cold water. Learn in cold water, tropics are truly a breeze. If the cold is truly to grueling, ask us about referrals, where you train locally with us and then finish your academics and pool training in warm waters of Mexico or Hawaii.

Dreaming of that warm tropical getaway? Let us make the arrangements for you. We have partnerships with local dive shops that are on the move and can link you up with the right trip to make your experience fun and relaxing.
